This masterclass is hosted by Charlie Metcalfe, Global Brand Ambassador for The Balvenie. He'll take you into the world of The Balvenie, tasting five exquisite whiskies together!
Little has changed at The Balvenie distillery since it was founded. The single malts are still crafted the traditional way today, giving these whiskies their unmistakable character. The Balvenie is the only distillery that still grows its own barley, still uses traditional floor malting, and still keeps its own coppersmith and cooper on site – which is why The Balvenie remains one of the most hand-crafted malts around today.

In 2015, Teeling opened as Dublin's first new distillery in 125 years, reviving a city that was once the centre of the global whiskey trade. The company combines centuries-old Irish whiskey tradition with a spirit of innovation, extraordinary cask ageing and an unmistakably modern style.
Six selected bottlings will be tasted: Teeling Small Batch Rum Cask, Teeling Single Grain, Teeling Crystal Malt, Teeling 21yo Vintage Reserve Silver Bottling, Teeling 2017 8yo Cask #77552 Chestnut Cask, and Teeling Blackpitts 2018 5yo Marsala Cask.
The masterclass is led by Beibhinn O'Reilly, European Brand Ambassador for Teeling Whiskey. In March 2026, she was named "World's Best Irish Whiskey Brand Ambassador" at the Icons of Whisky/World Whiskies Awards.
